Netherlands GDP Growth Rises to 1.5%

Netherlands real GDP growth rose to 1.50% in the second quarter of 2026, from 1.43% in the previous quarter. This marks the third consecutive quarterly increase, with growth having bottomed at 1.32% in the third quarter of 2025 before climbing steadily. The latest reading remains well below the series high of 12.21% recorded in the second quarter of 2021, and above the all-time low of -8.83% from the second quarter of 2020. Compared with the same quarter a year earlier, growth slowed from 1.53% in the second quarter of 2025, according to the International Monetary Fund.
