Methodology
How we source, standardize, and verify every data point.
Our mission
Build the most complete and reliable economics dataset on any country on earth — for a world where AI needs trustworthy, accessible information.
Auditable by design
Every value is auditable on request, so you can see exactly where any number comes from. Have a question about a specific figure? Ask us.
Where our data comes from
We source and standardize from the primary official sources of every country we cover:
- National statistical office GDP and national accounts releases
- Central bank monetary policy decisions and interest rate reports
- National treasury and finance ministry fiscal and public debt reports
- Customs and trade authority import/export declarations
- Balance of payments and current account statements
- Labour force and employment surveys
- Consumer and producer price index releases
- Industrial production and manufacturing survey data
- Money supply and banking sector reports
- Government revenue, expenditure, and budget balance reports
- International organization aggregates (IMF, World Bank, BIS) that consolidate national submissions
- Official trade statistics reported to international customs and trade bodies
