Slovenia Inflation Rises to 3.02% in August

Slovenia's consumer price inflation rose to 3.02% in August 2026, up from 2.94% in July, according to the International Monetary Fund. The latest reading marks the second consecutive monthly increase after a decline in July, though it remains below the 3.62% peak reached in May 2026. Year-over-year inflation has fluctuated between 2.33% and 3.62% over the past year, with the current rate slightly below the 3.03% recorded in August 2025. The all-time high for the series was 3465.40% in January 1990, while the all-time low was -1.23% in May 2020. Producer price inflation stood at 1.43% in April 2026, with producer prices rising 0.7% month-over-month in July, according to the International Monetary Fund.
