Austria's consumer confidence index rose to -18.2 in August from -19.2 in July. The latest reading is the highest since February 2026, after a dip to -24.1 in April. It remains above the all-time low of -34.3 in July 2022 and below the record high of 3.7 in December 2017. The index was -14.1 one year earlier, according to Eurostat.
