Czechia's business confidence index fell to -2.2 in August 2026 from -1.1 in July, according to Eurostat. The reading remains above the -5.2 level recorded a year earlier. The index has fluctuated between -7.9 and -1.1 over the past 12 months, staying well below its all-time high of 29 in June 2000 and above the record low of -36.9 in February 2009.
