Czechia's consumer confidence index fell to -8.1 in August 2026 from -4.5 in July, marking the lowest reading since August 2025. The index has declined in three of the past four months after reaching a 2026 high of 1.1 in January. The current level remains well above the all-time low of -32.6 recorded in July 2022, according to Eurostat.
