Business confidence in Denmark fell to -18.5 in August from -17.6 in July. The reading marked the third straight monthly decline, following -17.1 in June and -14.4 in May. It remained far below the series high of 12.3 set in December 1984 and above the all-time low of -42.5 from February 2009. The index stood at -14.5 a year earlier, according to Eurostat.
