Greece's business confidence index rose to 3.7 in August from 2.8 in July, ending two consecutive monthly declines. The reading was down sharply from 10.8 a year earlier and remained well below the series' all-time high of 13.7 set in January 2022. The gauge is still far above its record low of -37.3 recorded in March 2009, according to Eurostat.
