Greece's consumer confidence index rebounded to -43.6 in August 2026 from -47.8 in July, improving for the first time in three months. The reading is the highest since May 2025 and remains well below the all-time high of 0.5 recorded in April 2000. Compared with a year earlier, the index rose from -48.8 in August 2025, according to Eurostat.
