Latvia's business confidence index edged up to -3.3 in August 2026 from -3.5 in July, marking the third consecutive monthly improvement. The index has risen from -4.1 in June, though it remains in negative territory and well below its all-time high of 10.7 from February 2007. The current reading is higher than the -5 recorded a year ago, according to Eurostat.
