Latvia's consumer confidence index edged down to -10.4 in August from -7.5 in July, moving further from neutral. The index remained above readings from mid-2026, including -15.8 in May and -19.0 in June, but was higher than the -14.6 recorded a year earlier in August 2025. The series all-time high is 13.9 from September 2006, and its all-time low is -47.4 from June 2009, according to Eurostat.
