Lithuania's business confidence index fell to -8.2 in August 2026 from -7.9 in July, marking the second consecutive monthly decline. The reading is the lowest since October 2025, when the index stood at -8.4. The index remains well below its all-time high of 14.2 recorded in November 2007 and far above the series low of -39.2 from April 1994, according to Eurostat.
