Business confidence in the Netherlands rose to 2.9 in August from 2.2 in July. The reading is the highest since July 2022 and marks the third consecutive monthly increase, with the index climbing from 1.6 in June. A year earlier, the index stood at -2.5. The index remains well below its all-time high of 9.7 in November 2021 but has recovered from the all-time low of -31.3 in April 2020, according to Eurostat.
