Netherlands consumer confidence fell to -16.8 in August from -15.9 in July. The index remains below the year-ago reading of -14 and far above the all-time low of -35.9 from September 2022. After hitting a low of -23.8 in April, the index recovered to -15.9 in July before edging down in August, and it has been negative for all recent observations, according to Eurostat.
