The Singapore dollar edged up against the US dollar in August, with the period-average exchange rate falling to 1.27649 LCU/USD from 1.2914 in July. The August value was the lowest since May 2026's 1.2756 and moved closer to the all-time low of 1.2088 set in August 2011. The rate was 1.2856 a year earlier, according to the International Monetary Fund.
