Sweden's consumer confidence fell to -2.9 in August from -1.9 in July. The index has fluctuated between -7.2 and -1.9 over the past five months. It remains well above the all-time low of -27.5 recorded in October 2022. Compared with a year earlier, confidence improved from -6.9 in August 2025, according to Eurostat.
