Business confidence in Ireland rose to 9.9 in August from 9.6 in July. The reading equaled May's 9.9 and remained below the 19.5 recorded in March, as well as the year-earlier 10.3. All 13 recent monthly observations were positive, and the latest is up from 6.6 in June, according to Eurostat.
